PHILADELPHIA − The Eagles won't have at least one of their top players when they face the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night, and quarterback Jalen Hurts is dealing with an illness.
The Eagles gave Hurts a designation of questionable on Sunday morning, changing it from eligible to play on Saturday. The NFL Network reported that Hurts is flying separately to Seattle from the other players.
Hurts did not practice Saturday.
Already, three starters have been ruled out in cornerback Darius Slay (knee), right guard Cam Jurgens (pectoral) and linebacker Zach Cunningham (knee).
It's not ideal as the Eagles (10-3) are trying to end a two-game losing streak without some of their key players.

Slay could miss a few games after he had arthroscopic knee surgery during the week. He has been dealing with knee issues over the past few weeks, although it was nothing that caused him to miss a game.
The Eagles haven't put Slay on injured reserve, meaning they could be expecting him back before the end of the regular season on Jan. 7.
A source said Hurts' absence from practice was considered precautionary as the team hoped to prevent the illness from spreading to other players.
Marcus Mariota is Hurts' backup. He has taken five snaps this season.
Defensive end Josh Sweat also missed practice Saturday to deal with a personal issue. Sweat, who has 6½ sacks, but none in the last four games, is also expected to play.
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni confirmed the surgery for Slay, but said only "we'll see" when asked how long he will be out. Slay has made the Pro Bowl five times. It's expected that rookie Kelee Ringo will replace him, although Josh Jobe or Eli Ricks could also see some time at cornerback.
It will be a tough matchup as the Seahawks have DK Metcalf (864 yards receiving), Tyler Lockett (711) and rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigbah. James Bradberry is the Eagles' other starting corner, and Bradley Roby plays the nickel spot.
Sirianni also wouldn't divulge how the Eagles plan to replace Slay, but he did say that he's confident in whoever gets the assignment.
"We’ve got the right guys in place," Sirianni said. Then he repeated that sentence two more times.

As for Jurgens, who recently returned after missing five games with a foot injury, Sirianni said, "We'll see on Cam. He's feeling better every day. He's doing a good job of rehabbing."
Both Sua Opeta and rookie Tyler Steen filled in for Jurgens earlier in the season.
It’s expected that recently signed Shaq Leonard will replace Cunningham next to Nicholas Morrow. Rookie Ben Van Sumeren, who has never taken a defensive snap, is the third linebacker.
